I used Punta Arenas as a base for exploring Chilean Patagonia and stayed here on several separate nights in April 2023. The spacious room was very comfortable, and the location made it possible to walk to the Bus-Sur terminal for buses to places such as Puerto Natales and even Ushuaia in Argentina. The owner was especially lovely and went out of her way to make my stay good despite my limited Spanish. I sometimes had to leave as early as 6 in the morning for buses, and she made sure breakfast was ready before I headed out. Highly recommended!

A quiet place, close to restaurants, laundry, and the Straight of Magellan. The owner lives on site, is easy to reach, and was very friendly and accommodating.

One of my worst hostel stays. The heating leaked and flooded the floor. Some other passengers stole our tourist guides and my scarf. When we needed help cleaning the water from the room, the receptionist was rude and didn't help.

The place is cozy and nice, and so is the owner. Shower water can take a long time to heat up, and sometimes it never gets very hot.
