Peuma Lodge Patagonia

The staff at Peuma Lodge were fantastic, friendly, and helpful with anything we needed. They lit a fire for us before bed. Our room was large, with a warm, comfortable bed, and the setting is spectacular. It’s a wonderful oasis and a lovely place to relax, recharge, and find inspiration.

The staff were so lovely and helpful that they even took us to a local ‘beach’ on a beautiful hot day, since we didn’t have our own car. The food was delicious, the room spacious and comfortable, and the jacuzzi was the cherry on top. It’s perfectly placed for rafting, hiking, and unwinding, and easy to reach by car or public transport. A hidden gem. Can’t wait to return!

It’s about a 20min drive from Futaleufu town, and getting there without a rented car was a bit tricky. My wife and I came via Neuva Chaiten airport and the public bus, but Reuben and his team helped us a lot with the logistics throughout our stay. The lodge is quiet and romantic, with an onsite restaurant and lots of amenities. Reuben and the team run a beautiful place and are helpful and friendly, making guests feel comfortable and at home. You can see the pride and ongoing effort they put into maintaining the property and service.

We only spent one night at Peuma lodge with friends on a motorcycle ride, but the memories will stay with us. It’s tucked into the forest, with sublime little lodges, great food, and a warm welcome from ever-smiling staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are cosy and high quality, and the surroundings feel surreal, quiet and lush, with falcons flying around. There’s a nice hot tub on the main building’s terrace, by the bar and restaurant.
