The owner is a great guide for archaeological sites, and car rentals are available at a reasonable price. The cabins were beautiful and very comfortable, and everything was spotless. We had a perfect stay and highly recommend it.

The owners are guides, too, and took us to incredible places, with great advice on how to make the most of the island. You can rent vans from them to explore the areas accessible on your own. The cabins are amazing. I'd stay there every time I came back, and would gladly return a thousand times.

For such an expensive island, the price for what you get is excellent. It's a simple house split into three units, in a quiet location with a small terrace. The host is extremely friendly and helps with tours, rental cars, transportation, and more. The kitchen could use better equipment, and you'll definitely need a vehicle here.

Petero and Moana are warm and welcoming, and really care about preserving Rapa Nui culture. They gave us all the advice we needed. Petero is a wonderful guide, and I'd recommend taking one of his excursions. Their private tour cost less than the group options I found online, and could be adjusted to fit our timing and needs. They also rent cars at better prices than the rental companies, so booking one is a good idea since there are three cabins. The cabins are spacious and magnificent. Our bedroom was large, with a comfortable bed and a shelf for belongings. The kitchen had what we needed to cook, and for longer stays, you can ask Petero and Moana to bring a water can so you can refill bottles and save plastic and money. The living room was roomy, with a bed that doubles as a sofa and a TV where you can share your phone or tablet screen. We also loved the cozy porch chairs, looking out over the grounds with the ocean in the distance. Many thanks to Petero and Moana for making the trip so wonderful.
