The room got hot and humid at night, with no AC or fan, and after 20:00 the shower only had cold water. Breakfast was poor and served from 8:30-9:30, which overlapped with tour times. For the same money, there are better places to stay. I’d suggest starting breakfast before 8:00, adding a water filter since water is hard to find in stores and expensive, and keeping hot water in the shower around the clock. Tours could cost less when the guide doesn't speak English. Mosquito nets on all the windows and door seals might keep roaches out. The cats looked very weak, so they should be fed or given to someone who can care for them. Someone coming from Santiago could bring these things, which shouldn't be expensive. A Latam Airlines ticket allows about 3 large suitcases per person. One last thought: don't treat tourists like a bag of money. A tourist is a person with a job who made sacrifices to come to this island during limited holiday time.

The courtyard is nice, the city is small enough that you can easily walk everywhere, and the woman who met us at the airport was very welcoming. The Hostal itself was okay, but it could be better. Covid restrictions have eased, yet they still run it as if they hadn't: towels aren't replaced whether you stay 3 nights or a week, and they blame covid and charge an extra 7usd if you want fresh ones. Breakfast was almost the same all week.

The location is perfect, close to everything. It’s comfortable and has what you need, with good value for money. The beds are comfortable, rooms spacious, and kitchen well equipped, and breakfast was prepared with care. The owners are lovely and always happy to share information. I’d gladly return.

The garden was beautifully kept, and having a kitchen guests could use was handy. Our room was cleaned every day, and breakfast was excellent. The owner and staff made us feel very welcome. We left with wonderful memories, and I highly recommend staying here.
