For the island, it's good value and the location is fantastic. The kitchen, bathroom, and hostel bedroom are all pretty basic. This is an iconic place to visit.

There's a spot in front of the Hostel where you can watch the sunset, and even look at the stars after dark. Our five-bed dorm also had a view of the coast from the kitchen and dining area, with waves audible from bed at night. It had its own kitchen and two bathrooms. All the beds were singles, and most had a personal outlet and storage space. Breakfast isn't provided, though there's often a plate of fresh local fruit around. Airport transfers are free, and it's about a 15-minute coastal walk to Hanga Roa center.

Jimena was super nice, and the main street and great restaurants were about a 10-minute walk away. We rented a two-bedroom unit with a full kitchen, right next to Nayara Hangaroa hotel. It has a great location and a west-facing ocean view for sunsets.

The owner was really helpful and offers the basics you might need, including car and bike rentals and laundry. There's a communal kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. It's simple, cute accommodation right by the water on a quiet bay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and downtown is about a 15-minute walk.
