The rooms were good and clean, the Wi-Fi reliable, and the beds okay. The restaurant was very good, 9/10, though once or twice all the staff were away and it took a while for them to come back. The lobby experience was terrible, 0/10, and I’ve lowered my service rating since my last trip. A large group arrived just ahead of us, and both lobby staff spent their time helping them while everyone waiting to check in or out stood by. We waited 26 minutes just to check in, and the host served someone who arrived after us despite the line. Then they ran out of room keys. I had to install an app I’d never heard of and hope my phone didn’t die before I got back. I couldn’t leave my phone charging while going to the restaurant, or I’d be locked out. To make it worse, my coworker, who checked in 3 minutes after me, got a key. That made it seem like the staff member behind the counter had lied about there being no keys left.

The place was amazing, and Ines, Camilla, and Ruth were especially welcoming and hospitable. They were all friendly and shared great information about the hotel and area. Camilla made the best Mojito I’ve ever had. I also want to mention Mike the Garçon, who looked after me on my last night and suggested a great local wine.

Our flight was delayed and we landed after midnight, so the hotel cancelled our reservation. When we got there, the staff treated us horribly because of our nationalities. They were rude and inconsiderate, and lied to our faces. There were two other no shows that night, but they wouldn’t help us at all and kicked us out onto the street like dogs. Fellow travelers, don’t even consider staying here!

There’s free parking, and a big Mall close to the Hotel. The rooms are large and beautiful, with a big shower, and breakfast offers a huge selection. Very good hotel.
