Absolutely horrible.

Awful.

We paid 25,000 pesos and it was nowhere near worth it. The next morning we checked out Dacin and Marisol around the corner. For 5,000 pesos more, 30,000 total, we got a genuinely clean, comfortable room. The area there seemed a bit dangerous, but the hotel itself was very good. At the place we stayed, the photos on Agoda didn't match what we found. The double room was in terrible shape. The mattress smelled awful and was uncomfortable, practically placed on top of another mattress on the floor. There was no headboard, and a gap between the bed and wall meant the cushions kept falling through. I even put my phone in that gap for safekeeping. It felt completely unsafe. The bed was too small for two, the springs squeaked, and the thin, stained blankets had cigarette-burn holes. Shrek's swamp might have been more hygienic. The bathroom was awful too. There was no glass in its window, leaving an opening where people could see in, and no shower curtain. The tiled drywall walls let sounds carry everywhere. The door wouldn't shut properly and made a horrible noise. We weren't given towels, and after seeing the room, we didn't ask because I couldn't imagine how filthy they might be. The room windows had no security locks. Someone could have opened one and reached in to take our things from the table. That didn't happen, but the neighborhood felt very unsafe and full of foreigners. We kept our belongings by the bed and on the floor instead.

The prices were good, and everyone treated me with real kindness and attention.
