The hotel room door uses a card entry system rather than a regular key.

We booked eight nights after reading the reviews, but left after just one. The location and price are the upsides, if you're prepared to put up with the problems. The bathroom was disgusting, with mold and rust everywhere, and nobody showered. They offered to replace the grout and shower the following day. The pillows were awful, their filling all bunched up. There was no AC or fan, and opening the window brought in smells from the kitchens on the street behind. Our front window opened onto a hallway used by other guests. The pool water was green and poorly maintained, and breakfast was basic.

The building is beautiful, well laid out, and has an elevator, but the service was awful. The room itself is good and comfortable. Wi-Fi didn't work, and arguing with the employee didn't help. She said it only worked in the pool area, though as far as I know, nobody sleeps there. Breakfast was a real letdown: spoiled fruit and other expired products, which you could tell from the smell.
