The room was really spacious and the bed was comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, lush, and well cared for, and the staff are helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and the dinners we had at the restaurant were delicious.

What a tasty meal! They did a great job accommodating gluten-free and dairy-free needs, and you don't have to be a hotel guest to eat there. The grilled pineapple, which isn't on the menu, made a delicious vegan dessert. Give this place a try when you're on Easter Island.

Our flight was delayed, but the staff were still there waiting for us at 9 PM, with our excursion itinerary already printed and ready. The private tours were great, and our guide was able to adapt them. Great place to stay, with amazing service.

Our guide, Teva, was a real highlight. He was super friendly from the start and shaped the private outings to balance fun, awe, and history. He paid close attention to what we needed and was ready to try whatever we wanted. The grounds were lush and vibrant, with a Moai on site, and we stayed in a beautiful, spacious, modern upper unit. Its big veranda had comfortable seating and was a great spot to watch the sunset. The restaurant was fantastic. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day, with plenty of delicious food and drink choices, made-to-order drinks, and a good wine list. For our first trip to Rapa Nui, we stayed here in July 2025 with high expectations for this boutique hotel, and every one of them was exceeded. We got fresh flower necklaces at the airport, then a seven-minute drive to the hotel, where the friendly staff welcomed us with delicious non-alcoholic drinks. So glad we chose Hare Uta for this dream destination!

The onsite restaurant was AMAZING. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails there. Fernando kept our glasses full and brought us lovely treats from the kitchen, including tuna we had caught, prepared for us in several wonderful ways. My husband and I spent a week there in October, and they really rolled out the red carpet. The accommodations were perfect, they helped us with all our excursions, and housekeeping was A+. José was the consummate host, making sure we were always well looked after and appreciated. It was a fabulous five-star resort in every way. If we're ever back on Easter Island, we'll only stay at Hare Uta.
