The breakfast was appalling, and the eggs had the texture of chewed rubber. The photos also give a very misleading impression of what the hotel is actually like. Our room and bathroom were cramped and outdated, and noise from both inside and outside went on constantly. There’s no sound insulation. We were first put in room 237, directly above the kitchen. The smell of old, rancid frying oil was unbearable. When I complained, the receptionist didn’t seem surprised and said it could depend on what was being cooked. She called the owner and spent what felt like forever discussing what to do. I waited in the lobby for 45 minutes while she tried to convince them we couldn’t stay in that room. We ended up having to split our stay between different rooms, with no apology and no help with our luggage. The next room was meant to be an upgrade because it had a sea view, but it was tiny, with a huge chair that left no room for a suitcase. The following morning I told another receptionist we were leaving and wouldn’t stay the other two nights. There was no reaction, no questions, no apology, and of course no refund. What a disgrace. Avoid this place at all costs.
