We stayed just one night. The rooms were very clean and the staff paid close attention to us. It’s good value for the money. At night the area gets a little dark, and I couldn’t tell whether it was unsafe.

The place feels welcoming and family-run, and Patrício and Emanuel received us warmly. We came in winter and were comfortable, though the room only has a small electric heater. There’s no fan for summer. The bathroom setup could be better too: we were missing a bath mat and somewhere to put soap and shampoo in the shower. At night, a small restaurant serves pizza, pasta, and other food that comes in handy when you’re hungry.

The beds were comfortable, and despite the cold outdoors the room stayed pleasantly warm on its own, with no heating. It has the basics, including a bathroom, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is simple but does the job and matches what they advertise. There’s also a ping-pong table, a pool open from 9 am to 10 pm, a grill, secure parking, and a kettle with water for filling thermoses. It’s a small, warm place and you can see the care they put into it, though the service could be more professional. We had booked dinner for three at 7:30 pm, the advertised opening time, but the chef hadn’t arrived. Since we had plans at 9, we had to go downtown to eat. Even so, I’d definitely come back.

It’s clean and pleasant, with two types of stay: hotel rooms with private bathrooms and hostel rooms with shared bathrooms. There are shared rooms and space to barbecue on the property. The double rooms have air conditioning; the others don’t.
