Hotel Genova

We loved spending a few days in Los Andes. The people running this little hotel at the foot of the Andes are really nice.

Simple, clean hotel for a good price.

The staff member who welcomed us was friendly and very helpful, but that doesn’t change the condition of the hotel. The room was very old and looked dirty. At 5 am, the reception alarm started going off again and again, which really ruined our night. I couldn’t bring myself to eat breakfast after seeing how dirty the kitchen was. Hygiene matters. I don’t recommend it.

We only stayed one night while passing through and needed somewhere to rest before continuing our trip. The hotel was clean and lovely, in a convenient location, and the staff were friendly. It was especially helpful to have secure parking on site. Our room had cable TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. Pets aren’t usually accepted, but they made an exception for us because my dog is housebroken. I’m taking off a star because the room was cramped for three people, with barely enough space to walk between the beds. I saw rooms with just one double bed that had room for an extra bed and still seemed spacious, so rearranging the layout might help. The breakfast tables were also small and awkward for setting everything down. Both seem like easy things to improve. I’d recommend the hotel.
