Hotel Boutique Barrio 14

We could hear every bathroom noise, which made sleeping impossible, even though the facilities were nice and clean. Our stay lasted only six hours and was made worse by Mónica’s rude response and poor judgment. I looked ill and was recovering, but she would not let us stay until 12:15 pm. I filed a complaint and hope they improve. Andrea at reception was admirable in her service, though she doesn’t work well with the team. I don’t recommend this hotel.

It’s comfortable and welcoming, and I’ve found it to be a good hotel on the times I’ve stayed. They haven’t given me the Wi-Fi password, though, so maybe I need to ask for it.

The breakfast was great, and the internet was fast. The street is quiet, though noise inside the hotel carries more. When I stayed a second time, I appreciated the peaceful afternoons and how willing and helpful the staff were about putting things away before I went into the room. The place is clean, but noise can be heard everywhere. It was cloudy during our stay and the rooms felt cold. I’d come back without hesitation.

The price is really good. Breakfast could use some improvement.
