One of the best places to stay on the way to Termas de Chillan. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there, and whenever we’re nearby, we go back for the full breakfast, which costs about $15 USD.

The one real downside is the noise through the thin walls, especially at night. As others have mentioned, you need to be aware of it and tolerant, tongue in cheek. Still, I highly recommend the place. English speakers shouldn’t worry even though Spanish is the main language, people can connect beyond language. It’s a great spot to relax in nature, with snowy forest walks just a few kilometers from the hotel. You can also visit the natural hot springs for a fee and go to the snowfields. In June-July, you can reach both on the same trip. The bar and dining area has a good atmosphere, typical Chilean food and drinks, and sometimes live music with singers in English. The hotel sometimes puts on indoor activities like bingo, mini-futbol taca-taca, yoga, and walks for guests. Hot tubs are available for a small fee and need to be booked.

The rooms are good and close to restaurants, and Nevados Chillan ski is only 6 miles away. The listed phone number ending in 7500 is always busy and never gets answered. The hotel says it isn’t their number, but belongs to the reservation center.
