We were pointed toward the sights and experiences that mattered in the area, and had some lovely food and wine along the way. The grounds and rooms are beautifully kept, with an artistic touch throughout. Jorge is a terrific cook, and he and the staff were kind, capable, and helpful. It’s a peaceful, leafy refuge in Mehuin, with a clean, beautiful, down-home cultural feel. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The rooms are comfortable, the bedding is spotless, and the central heating is spectacular. It’s very close to the beach, with plenty of parking. I understand it now belongs to UFRO, and the new administrators keep the place in great shape and look after guests really well.

I still have such good memories of our visit years ago. The room had a one-of-a-kind view, and Tatiana and Jorge made my husband and me feel incredibly welcome. We ate wonderfully. They also shared stories about the 1960 tsunami, and showed us traces of what remained. Queule and Old Tolten are reachable from there. Highly recommend it.

We had some of the best food I’ve ever eaten at the restaurant, and a main course is usually under 10,000 pesos. The owner speaks German and English, while his wife speaks English only. Rooms are roomy and clean, and everyone on staff is friendly. If you’re nearby, make time to stop in, then watch the ocean sunset with a Pisco Sour.
