Lodge Nevados de Sollipulli

The area is so peaceful and beautiful, with hardly anyone around even in February, the height of summer. We stayed as a group of four in one of the new cabins, which was spacious and fully equipped. The deck and hot tub look out over the garden and lake, and were fantastic. Robert and his staff were helpful and accommodating, including when some of us couldn’t manage the whole volcano hike. He took us up in the buggy, which was a fun experience on its own, and the hike was phenomenal for those who went. It’s a hidden gem. I can’t wait to return in winter and explore on skis.

Christian, the owner, was generous, informative, and helpful, just a gem of a person. We’d reached the Lodge hoping to hike to the volcano summit after arriving too late for the 11am limit at the Conaf gate. We didn’t stay there that time, but the place is absolutely beautiful, and the cabanas looked great, especially the new wooden ones. If we’d known, we would’ve planned a night there. We’ll stay next time we’re in Chile.

Hardly anyone seems to know about this special, cute place. I’d definitely recommend spending some time here.
