Sel Lodge hotel y spa

It's well located and has a nice view. The employees are kind and can explain whatever you ask about. Breakfast is the only meal offered here, but there are some nice options around SEL Lodge Spa.

The rooms and beds were fine, but the bathroom looked like it was from the 1980s and needs renovating. The staff were cheating guests, in my view. I couldn't use the pool because other activities had it blocked off. At reception, I asked for a discount and was granted 20%, as shown in the attachment. But when I checked out, they said they couldn't apply it and only the owner could, and he never appeared. I had to pay the full amount. Across six hotels in Chile, we paid cash in US dollars to avoid the 19% IVA. Qamaqi wouldn't allow that. We had to pay in pesos with the full 19% tax, but still didn't receive a proper invoice. It all seemed very strange to us. I wouldn't book there again.

The staff were wonderful, and the hotel itself feels like something out of a storybook. It looks stunning from outside and inside, with gorgeous views.

The restaurant food was good, and the rooms were clean and nice. The staff were very kind, and there was plenty of parking. The pool could use a cleaning, though, and the hot tubs cost extra and need to be booked ahead. They locked the property after 7 p.m. while we were there, and we got locked out. A phone number was posted, but my cell service wasn't working, so I couldn't call. I yelled, shook the gate, and walked up and down the road, but nobody heard me. Eventually I flagged down someone passing by, who called the number and came to let us in. They don't speak English at all. Wi-Fi worked only at reception. The signal was weak in the rooms and didn't work outside on the patio.
