Novaqua Bed & Breakfast

The town square is just a three-minute walk away, with a market selling traditional Chilean goods. Sometimes local young people practice la cueca there. La Fogata, also on the square, serves traditional Chilean food and freshly made cocktails. The pool has a lovely backdrop of the mountains in La Campana national park. The landlady is so friendly and really wants you to feel at home. Breakfast was marvelous, with fresh eggs and fruit, warm bread, yoghurt, cheese, ham, jam, and local pastries. It's a great spot in the heart of Chilean folklore. The main downside is noise from dogs and traffic, so light sleepers may want ear plugs.

The house is beautiful, and the B&B host was incredibly kind.

We stayed one night with our daughter, and we'll definitely come back. The owner and her husband, who helps out, were both very kind. Breakfast was spectacular, with lots of variety and plenty to eat, and they even offered us more bread. The place is very central in Olmué, right by the police station, and we could leave our car safely inside. The bathroom was spotless and comfortable. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with warm blankets, a heater, and everything needed for tea or coffee in the hallway. There was also a mini-fridge for storage.
