We had an amazing stay! Our hostel plans fell through, so I found this room at the last minute when I couldn't find a hostel in Osorno. It was extremely clean, and the owner was amazing, so sweet, friendly, and accommodating. They put out a great breakfast spread in the morning, and the location was great too. Honestly, I'm not sure I've ever met a sweeter person than the owner. 10/10.
The owners made me feel at home after I unexpectedly needed a place for the night in Osorno. They welcomed me, showed me around the lovely hostel, and their care really comes through in the details. Mapa is clean, new, and has a fresh feel. I’d happily stay again if I’m back in Osorno.
We chose this place specifically for the hot tub, but it was empty when we arrived. When we told the host how disappointed we were, she responded defensively and with hostility. She offered no discount, even though the advertised amenity wasn’t available, and told us to “find another place to stay.” So we did.
The owners were wonderful, and the location made a great base for exploring the beautiful area around Osorno. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
Cozy and really clean, with the best breakfast we had in Chile.
