Cabaña del Bosque

The hotel was just right, with a hot tub, a view of the Pacific, two clean and beautiful bedrooms, and a big deck. Claudio made the stay incredible. Our motorcycle broke down, and he drove us around, helped move it, connected us with a mechanic, brought us beers while we waited, and helped get our other motorcycles to the hotel. He checked us in, suggested restaurants, and met us again in the morning to help with the mechanic.

The hotel itself was awesome, with an excellent view of the Pacific and two beautiful, clean bedrooms opening onto a large deck. Claudio was a huge help to me and my friends when our motorcycle broke down. He gave us a ride, loaded the bike into his truck, and took it to a mechanic. He also checked us in that first night while we waited for the repair, suggested restaurants, and came back in the morning to help with the mechanic.

The couple running the place were so friendly and spoke English. I had my first stay in Pichilemu this weekend, in one of these huts, and loved the calm atmosphere and amazing sea view. It’s also close to shops. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful stay by the sea, including families with children.

The setting is lovely, the location is excellent, and we got to see a few nearby attractions during our four-day New Year’s stay. The four of us adults found the cabins comfortable. The kitchen is small but works for basic needs, the shower is very good, and parking is limited. The jacuzzi had a strong chlorine smell, and in the heat it smelled like gas, so that seems worth checking. Because it was New Year’s, we only saw the host at check-in. There was no cleaning service or check-in about restocking supplies. I usually bring what I need or buy it, but it’s still a detail to know. It’s a quiet place, though we heard a lot of shouting and music from the house behind us. We didn’t mind since it was New Year’s. I’d recommend it.
