We were especially comfortable in the cabin, which was well equipped, and Gonzalo brought anything extra we asked for. The pellet rocket heater was a highlight: simple to light and quick to warm the place. Gonzalo and his family were generous, friendly, and efficient, and his impeccable English made communication easy. We stayed at Chillan House in November 2024, and as an older couple without our own transport, we appreciated his advice on easy walks and help getting to places. We also took a beautiful walk with him to a spectacular waterfall. There are plenty of nearby options for walks, thermal springs, and an educational park about the region's native plants and animals. It was one of the best places we stayed during our six weeks in Chile. We highly recommend it. Thank you, Gonzalo. Penny and Jan, Australia

The staff were amazing and the service was great. The beds are super comfortable, and the hotel is spotless. It still feels brand new.

We've stayed at Cabaña Alpina three times now. Gonzalo is always attentive and helpful, and we love the setting. The valley has excellent walking opportunities, and this time we finally tried the hot tub. It was delightful. I'm sure we'll return on our next trip to Chile.

The owners are kind and helpful, and I'd come back. It's a lovely, cozy spot for a weekend or a longer trip. Though it's up on the mountain, groceries and fantastic restaurants are only a few minutes' drive away, along with other amazing places to explore.

The host was a big help with finding your way around beautiful Las Trancas, and even shared a PDF of the main attractions. Great accommodation, and I'd highly recommend it.
