We had a lot of fun with Carlos, our guide, who introduced us to Piscola :) The staff were all lovely, and the food was amazing, with lots of homegrown vegetables. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at, with impeccable service.

Every excursion was spectacular and shaped around what we wanted and needed. The staff were the warmest, friendliest people, and they went above and beyond throughout our stay. The food was divine. Everything we tried was special and delicious. We wish we could give this place more than five stars, and we'd book again without hesitation.

The excursions were a real highlight. Our guides were fantastic and took us to some places that seemed known only to them. The cheese factory was fascinating too, and it was amazing that one woman regularly makes several kinds of cheese and yogurt for the restaurant. Back at the lodge, nature was beautiful, and ending the day in the hot tubs with a drink from the bar was just right. The food was phenomenal, though I regret not having room to eat more. I was also glad to find a small gym that I don't think was mentioned anywhere, which helped burn off a few extra calories. We stayed at andeyond Vira Vira for four nights in December 2023 during a three-week trip around Chile, and it was the highlight of the holiday. We arrived on half board, then upgraded to all inclusive because we wanted to fill our days and enjoy all the food and drink. Rodrigo, our restaurant waiter, was effortlessly charming and funny, and Simon, our guide, made the trip memorable.

We loved our honeymoon at Vira Vira and didn't want to leave. The team's service was professional and thoughtful, with champagne at our tub and a private dinner table on our last night. Thank you Jessica, Sofia, Pauley, Wvalidmir, Ricardo, Juan, and Charlotte for making the stay unforgettable. Constanza, Mariann, Marianella, Fernanda and the &beyond logistics team also did a great job coordinating everything. Patricio deserves a special mention. He took us hiking and snowshoeing in Huerquehue and Villarica National Parks, knew so much about the local trees and birds, and showed us hidden spots with beautiful views. He's also a professional photographer, and made our iPhone photos and videos look impressive. We're so glad we met him. Our villa felt like a private luxury cabin, with the river right in front. We loved watching king fishers and ibis from the sun room. Lunch and dinner each came with a different three-course menu and optional wine pairings, plus two kinds of fresh bread and wonderful flower butter. Every entree had a delicious sauce we wanted to lick from the plate. There was a small weather-related mishap when we arrived, but the team kept us updated and handled Plan B smoothly. The GM came to apologize in person, which we appreciated. From the accommodations and excursions to the food and staff, the whole stay felt like five-star hospitality.
