Hashtag Hostel & Cabañas

We kept extending our stay because we liked the place so much. Oscar and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, drinks at the bar were cheap, and you can get anywhere in Pucon from the hostel. Best place we stayed in Chile, and my top recommendation.

The beds felt surprisingly spacious thanks to how they were set up, and everything was kept really neat and clean. The free bikes were great, too. We did get bitten by what might have been bed bugs or mosquitoes, but the staff kindly moved us to different beds. Nice outside area, good kitchen and beds, and excellent wifi.

Peti the #dog is adorable and so well behaved. We had a wonderful few nights here, with spacious rooms, comfy beds, and everything clean. The owners clearly love what they do and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They were friendly and knew their stuff. Thanks!

The common areas were a real highlight, with plenty of room inside and outside to eat, relax, nap, or make plans. The kitchen was huge, well stocked, and easy to cook in. Coffee and tea were free all day, and there was fruit in the morning. There's a full bar, and outside drinks aren't allowed, though the prices seemed fair, with wine at 3,000 a bottle. I spent the first night in a four-bed dorm and the next in an eight-bed one. Only one other bed was occupied that second night. The place still looked and felt new, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms had lots of sinks and showers. Hot water was properly hot and wifi stayed steady. Stayed two nights in December 2016. Highly recommended!
