Orillas del Coilaco Bungalow

We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy Cabañas Orillas del Coilaco. The peaceful setting made it easy to relax. There are hammocks by the river, plus a covered patio down there for cooking something special if you want. You can also barbecue at the cabins. The cabins have Wi-Fi and TVs in the bedrooms. The pool has changing RGB lights, and there’s a volleyball net, swings, a slide, and a gym. The trees are beautifully kept, with stone steps down to an incredible river view. The hot tubs stay at just the right temperature thanks to Don Marcelo, who starts the fire early and adds wood regularly. He’s a humble, down-to-earth, excellent host who really cares about your comfort and enjoyment. There are also two friendly, well-behaved dogs. What more could you ask for?

The cabins are well equipped, and the location is central for visiting the most beautiful places. It doesn’t feel isolated, with a mini-market nearby and restaurants close by. Such a beautiful spot, with the scent of nature, the sound of the river, scenery, hot tubs at no extra charge, a pool, and the option to barbecue. Honestly, what more could you ask for? We had an excellent experience.

The owners are such kind, good people, which we really appreciated. We still enjoyed our vacation, even though there were things that could be improved. The pool was great and the cabins looked lovely, but the mattresses were hard, the bedding felt poor quality, and we couldn’t get the shower temperature right. The water came out really hot, then went cold when we tried to adjust it.

Don Pablo is so thoughtful and kind, and Brunito and Viejito are adorable. The place itself is beautiful and quiet, tucked into nature, with clean, secure facilities and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a great spot to switch off and relax. I’d come back a thousand times, highly recommend it!
