The location is excellent, and I made some good friends among the guests. Elizabeth the housekeeper was lovely and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was powerful and very hot. But the room felt worn, with broken fittings, nowhere to hang clothes, and no bedside lights. The bathroom was tired too, with mould on the walls and no ventilation. Going downstairs on the inner staircase is risky because of a large top step that's easy to miss. Tour information and books were kept in the locked breakfast area. Breakfast didn't start until 8:30, which is disappointing when many Pucon activities begin early; there was no takeaway option, just 24/7 hot water for tea or coffee and fruit. Self check-in with the WhatsApp video instructions was simple, though we had to let in some last-minute guests who had no instructions. Covid lockdown had affected the whole town, and much of it needs a spring clean and tidy-up. Hola hostel does too. The town and hostel have potential, but this place isn't worth the money as it is. Simple changes and updates could make it worthwhile.

We stayed in the upstairs Queulat room, which was clean and quiet. The hostel is warmly decorated, cozy, and well located near the main street, a supermarket, and the beach. There's a grill in the garden, and breakfast was filling, with homemade cakes and bread. The staff and service were great. I do wonder how noisy the rooms by the kitchen and dining room might be. My one suggestion is to better equip the kitchen.

Ignacia and her crew were lovely hosts who did everything they could to make our stay great. The atmosphere was great, and breakfast was perfect every day. The place was clean and spacious, close to everything but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. I'll definitely come back.

The breakfast was a big plus, and the room was great. It's a cozy hostal in a great spot in Pucón, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff made everyone feel at home. Highly recommended.

A real gem! The downstairs living area is pleasant, spacious, and comfortable, the room was comfortable too, and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was excellent. It felt like home away from home.
