The grounds are immaculate, and the setting is beautiful. It's a unique hotel and good value for money. The rooms could use some work and a better clean, but overall we had a great stay.

We only stayed one night and wished we'd booked longer. The property feels magical beside a crystal-clear river, and the rooms are gorgeous. There's a lovely pool, plus a riverside hot tub you can book for a half-hour slot. The restaurant was fantastic and accommodated special dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!

Getting here means a long drive on dirt roads, and Pucón is about 30 minutes away for dinner. It's a very isolated, eccentric place, so you need to be comfortable with that. In return, the river setting and hot tub beside the rapids are wonderfully peaceful, and the night sky had more stars than I've ever seen, even at 55. Breakfast was pleasant. There was no staff at the hotel at night, which made us worry about what we'd do if something went wrong, especially since we speak little Spanish.

The room itself was okay, with a lovely river and garden view, a private bathroom, and an extremely comfortable bed. But the TV was useless without a decoder, the WiFi was weak, and we could hear people walking and talking in the rooms above. The next morning, breakfast arrived 15 minutes late and the shower never had hot water. We checked out punctually at 11 AM, but nobody was there to help or even say goodbye. Our last night in the area turned into a horrible experience. The nature was the only good part. We had booked by phone, but the reservation wasn't there when we arrived. Paying by card wasn't possible because the POS had no signal, and the manager blamed us after four different cards failed. A wire transfer was the only option. With poor phone service, loading our banks' websites took ages. The manager left us alone at the front desk while we searched for the WiFi credentials to get a better connection and complete the transfer. It wasn't cheap, either. Afterward, the manager asked us to send a screenshot to a WhatsApp number. I said I no longer had the screenshot, and the manager seemed annoyed about checking email for the confirmation. We checked in around 6 PM and nobody offered us food or any other service for the rest of the day. There were lots of requirements for using the hot tub or pool, so we just spent the afternoon walking around the grounds.
