The quiet spot just beyond town gave us a beautiful volcano view and amazing stars. My wife and I spent six nights here, and the room was clean and roomy. Araceli was so kind and helpful, answering our questions and sharing ideas for making the most of San Pedro de Atacama. Thanks for a lovely stay, Araceli!

Araceli and everyone there made us feel right at home, and we had some great conversations with them. They were warm and helped us get the most out of San Pedro and the area around it. Our room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and parking worked well for our rental car. One of the best stays of our South America trip, and the best hotel in Atacama for us.

The owners were lovely hosts, always happy to help with suggestions for tours and places to eat, and breakfast was included in the price. The hostel is peaceful and comfortable, tucked away from the crowds but still close to downtown. I spent about three days there and found the room cozy and clean, with a great place to rest. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back sometime.

Aracelli was always ready with helpful information and tips about what to see in San Pedro. We had a great time at Atacama Checar Hostal, and the room was clean and pretty comfortable. Definitely recommend it!

The hosts made us feel at home straight away, and gave us useful advice on what to see nearby and how to get around. We spent four days at Checar, which was our favorite hotel during our trip through Chile. The rooms were clean, the beds really comfortable, and breakfast was great. Coffee, tea, filtered water and Inca herbs were always free to take. We loved relaxing in the patio after a day out and chatting with the hosts and other guests. If you're traveling by car and don't mind staying just outside San Pedro, this is a great choice.
