Hotel Departamentos del Sur

The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had a microwave, refrigerator, and kettle. We only used the microwave and fridge, and both were fine. There’s also a Jumbo nearby. The curtains could be better, since outside lighting makes the room bright at night. We went practically three days without hot water. The bathroom door made a horrible noise whenever it opened, so it was impossible to go in at night without waking the other person.

The website where I booked called this a four-star hotel, but to me it felt more like a two-star place. Breakfast was expensive and basic, with no quality products or even a piece of fruit. There’s no elevator, and the rooms on the upper floors, especially the third and top floor, get excessively hot. There was also too much light in the room.

We had no hot water in the showers for our entire stay, and there weren’t even any towels. The Wi-Fi was awful, too. They did give us compensation, which was the only positive, but only after we asked. A terrible experience. I wouldn’t return.

Everything was fine during the stay, but I left my phone charger and external battery behind. I emailed Karoline the details for shipping them to my city. Despite asking by email several times, they never arrived.
