Hotel Don Teo

Puerto Montt itself was a nice experience, but our stay at this hotel was awful. There were four of us in my family, and we stayed for two days. The manager was friendly, yet our rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes, the walls were dirty, and one family member got tick bites. The towels didn't seem to have been washed. We also had broken TVs with dead remotes and batteries, and the shower gave only cold water when we turned on the hot tap. At the end of the day, we let the beds air out and then noticed the mattresses were stained. It was unfair that other rooms were clean while some of ours were dirty and had broken TVs. The 30,000 pesos isn't the main point, though it is very expensive. We had a bad experience, and I do NOT recommend this hotel 👎.

We only stayed because we arrived late, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. The rooms were filthy and smelled of cigarettes and feet. Bathrooms were disgusting, towels were dirty, and there was hair on the walls. I was covered in bites from bedbugs. Breakfast was the one decent part, but it was just a few slices of cured meat and cheese, plus butter and jam left on the table all day. Who knows how many days they'd been there. For service that terrible, I think the price was far too high.

We've stayed twice, and every time the people have been friendly and helpful. Whenever we've needed help, they've come to our rescue, and we've never had a problem.

Muy lindo y todo is lovely, and the daytime service is good. The rooms are quite clean, though the bed has a lot of mites, which is a bad point. The night receptionist has a bit of a difficult personality. Apart from that, everything was great for spending a night or two.
