The staff were kind and attentive, but the hotel itself felt badly cared for. The rooms are dated and dirty, with stains and mystery smears on the walls, dirty carpet, and bunched-up or patched areas. Showers were awful, covered in mold and scum. Even with hot water, I felt gross using them, and many didn’t drain properly. Breakfast was a joke, just ham, cheese, toast, cookies, and an apple. Before a trek, that’s basically useless. There are much nicer places nearby for the same sort of price.

The location is right in town, the beds were comfortable and seemed clean, and the staff were nice enough. Still, I wouldn’t have picked this hotel myself. The agency booked it for us before the W trek. Our room was small and dirty, the shower in room 107 didn’t work well, and we saw cockroaches in the bathroom in the morning.

It’s a good hotel, but there aren’t many parking spaces. When they’re all taken, you’re on your own. That happened to me, so I left my rental car down by the beach. I’m not sure overnight parking is allowed there, but I got away with it.

It feels charming and welcoming, with an authentic Patagonian character despite being affordable. The view of the sea from the front is breathtaking. Absolutely recommended!

The service was great, and my room was nice and clean, though the bathroom could have been cleaner. It’s a lovely, quaint old hotel in a great location, but the rooms are small and the bathrooms tiny. Breakfast was very basic.
