Hotel Agua Nativa

The breakfast was passable, and the waiters were friendly, but the food selection was minimal rather than buffet-style. The bread was much too hard, the coffee was cheap instant, and the juice seemed watered down. The room was also in poor condition, with a moldy smell from the bathroom that meant we would have had to leave the window open. That wasn’t practical: the heating was controlled for the whole house, and it was far too hot on the first day, then off entirely on the other days. During the last 2 days, the shower water only got very slightly warm, so we couldn’t shower. With the mold and smell, and the heating and hot water not working properly, I can’t recommend this accommodation.

They say they’re an ecological lodging, but I didn’t see any real effort toward that. They burn wood to heat the hotel and hot tub, and everything ends up smelling of smoke. I wouldn’t recommend staying until they act more consistently with their own vision.

The staff were nice, but there wasn’t much they could do. The rooms have no sound insulation and were very loud, and the Wi-Fi was almost nonexistent, I couldn’t connect from the room. We left before our stay was over.

Everything felt brand new, and the room was clean and tidy, with a huge comfortable bed. The view was lovely, the staff were friendly, and the hot tubs look out over the lake. Excellent accommodations.
