Quila Hostal

Such a warm, pleasant place, with a perfect view and gorgeous scenery. Very nice!

Even without a car, getting to Quila Hostal was easy for us. The minibus from Puerto Varas leaves in front of the O Higgins supermarket and takes about 30 minutes. Nicolas was very helpful, meeting us on the main road and bringing us back to Quila, so we could just settle in and enjoy that magical view. The direct outlook to Osorno Volcano is sublime, and the big garden is a lovely place to eat or have a drink while facing it. Inside, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, and the meals divinely cooked. Most of all, we loved how kind and welcoming Nicolas, Lorena, and Jorge were. Quila Hostal felt like home, and we stayed five days, then came back for another three later in the trip. It’s a gem!

There are several shared spaces in the beautiful house, and the breakfast is incredible. It’s a peaceful place with very comfortable rooms and amazing views of Lake Llanquihue and Osorno Volcano. Quila Hostal sits between Calbuco and Osorno volcanoes, close to Petrohué waterfalls and Lake Todos los Santos.

It’s very clean and peaceful, with an excellent view of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. The owners are attentive and so friendly, and breakfast was both delicious and plentiful.
