The breakfast was nice, and the people were very friendly. Our bed was comfortable and everything seemed clean, though the linen looked a bit old and could use an update. There was also a friendly dog. We only stayed one night and expected a little more from the reviews. People talked in the hall until midnight, then loud footsteps from the second floor early in the morning disturbed my sleep.

The rates are super affordable, and the service is so friendly they make you feel at home. Breakfast was great, and although the rooms are small, they’re clean and neat. Great value for money.

We loved the rooms, which were very clean and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was the best we had on our six-week trip. This is a small, family-run hotel that’s clearly well cared for. It sits on a quiet residential street within walking distance of the lake, with easy, free parking.

The rooms and beds were comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was complete, with efficient table service. The hotel is in a quiet area close to everything, about 10 minutes from downtown. Walking there means going up a slope, which is nothing terrible but could be an issue for elderly guests. The main downside for me was the lack of proper ventilation or AC. In hot summer weather, the upper rooms get extremely hot. One of our rooms had a fan and the other didn’t, and even the one fan wasn’t enough to cool us.
