Hostal Bauer

They gave us cheaper rooms for the same price, saying our room was occupied and still unavailable. Breakfast was included, but they didn’t serve it and gave no explanation. The place was noisy and unclean, and the price didn’t feel reasonable. They only speak Spanish. I’d avoid it.

Avoid this place. We were told the host is known around town for deliberately overbooking and sending guests somewhere else, making money in the process. It happened to us, and the argument with the host ruined our day. Horrible.

It’s okay for a quick stop, but the place is tiny, noisy, and not very clean.

The staff were exceptionally hospitable, and I could request a separate cleaning service. The location was great, and for the price it was reasonable. The bed was soft, though I could hear noise from outside, so it still felt like a budget hotel.
