The rooms are basic, but Stefan and his family made sure we had what we needed to explore Putre and the surrounding nature. They know the area well and gave us lots of great recommendations. It’s a family business with a rich history, and the service was exceptional.

For what’s available nearby, this place is very overpriced. The owners were rude, and the grounds and amenities weren’t well maintained.

Las Vicuñas was a lovely place to unwind after the long trip into the Altiplano. The location was just right, and the quiet atmosphere made it easy to relax. Our room was clean, cozy, and warm on cold nights. The owner was kind and welcoming from the start, and her recommendations for exploring the area and Lauca National Park were really helpful. You can tell she puts a lot of heart into the place. We were grateful for the hospitality and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!
