We could hear everything going on in the other rooms, so there was basically no privacy, and we even thought about leaving early. The bed linens were damp, maybe from humidity in the bathroom beside the room. Getting the car in and out also depends on the owner since she has the only gate access. During the day, cars were left on the street.

Doña Sol and her mother really go out of their way to give good service, and the price is reasonable. It's a pleasant place to stay. It's a bit far from the city center and beaches, though with a car the distance isn't much of an issue. Very grateful, and I recommend it.

It's a peaceful place, but some of the equipment is quite old and should be replaced. The oven didn't work properly, and the kettle leaked when pouring. Sometimes the hot water ran out while bathing. I'd keep the gas off when you're not using it, since otherwise there can be a strong smell.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and set up for a family of five, with very secure private parking. The area is quiet, and the owner was very attentive. The bathroom could use ventilation, but otherwise we were very satisfied. If we return to Chile and stay in that area, we'd choose Hostal Vistamar again without hesitation.
