We ate very well, maybe a little too well, with duck, merluza, and pizza among the meals. My husband spent three days fishing and had a great time despite the rain. I also did a long hike and a shorter one to see the Darwin frog, then unwound with massages and time around the gym and pool. We stayed for 4 nights.

The reserve is a wonderful place for nature lovers, whether you want challenging adventures or a peaceful break. After hikes, the spa was a calm place to unwind, with indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, and excellent treatments. The food left a strong impression too. I still remember the crisp vegetables and flavorful local meat, some of the best flavors I’ve ever had. The rooms felt comfortable and familiar, with natural materials and beautiful scenery right outside. The hotel’s warm wood, thoughtful decor, and huge windows made it easy to feel immersed in nature indoors, while the views ran from native forest to the Andes. My stay at Futangue Hotel & Spa a year ago was unforgettable, with a lovely mix of nature, comfort, and genuine hospitality. I recently heard the hotel received a Michelin Key. Congratulations, very well deserved. I’d love to return soon. Thank you, and have a wonderful 2026!

The exploration house was stunning. Sitting by the fireplace there on a rainy evening was a highlight, enough to deserve its own review. I also really enjoyed the hotel’s activities, from relaxing options to challenging hikes, plus bikes, kayaks, and fishing. The location in the heart of the nature reserve is amazing, and the cozy rooms have a lovely design. The restaurant is pleasant, and I liked the menu, though I would have preferred more seafood choices for main courses. The spa was comfortable and relaxing, the massage was good, and the warm outdoor pool was fantastic. I absolutely loved my stay.

The trails start right at the hotel and lead through some of the most amazing landscapes I’ve seen. After a long hike, coming back to the spa was such a treat, with indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, and a range of treatments. The fresh, flavorful food inspired by local cuisine was another highlight. The hotel sits among mountains, forests, and lakes, a hidden retreat in nature. Its natural wood and expansive glass fit beautifully into the surroundings and give stunning views of the mountains and forests. The rooms are spacious and elegantly designed. From arrival, we felt completely looked after. Every team member was kind, attentive, and passionate about sharing this special part of Patagonia. One of the most magical stays I’ve ever had, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

The hiking was incredible. The paths are thoughtfully laid out and very well maintained. I’m grateful for all the work that makes this conservation and biodiversity gem accessible to visitors. The hotel is a pleasure to stay in, with spacious rooms, tasteful decor made with local materials, and amazing super king size beds for a deep sleep after hiking. The staff are friendly without hovering. The spa has a warm pool and an outdoor pool for hot and cold bathing. The massage room was one of the best I’ve seen, with cozy decor and a very comfortable massage table.
