Mauricio at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, which made for a great first impression. I had a spacious, comfortable, clean room, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was great too. Hotel Cinco Tierras exceeded my expectations, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy their time in San Carlos.

The staff at Hotel Cinco Tierras were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and entertainment. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very good. We had a phenomenal stay in San Carlos and would definitely recommend the hotel. We’ll come back again.

The room doors open onto an atrium, so noise from other rooms carries. We were kept up late by people watching TV a few doors down. Breakfast was very basic, and foreign tourists can’t get the 19% VAT reduction here because the hotel isn’t set up to offer it. The hotel itself is modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a useful car park. It’s well placed for a stopover on a long drive along the ruta 5 road. The man who greeted us was very friendly and helpful, and even saved us a parking space.
