The rooms were spotless, with big stylish bathrooms, and each has a private terrace with a divan couch that's perfect for watching the stars. We loved the peaceful setting, mountain views, and the beautiful artesian fountains. The design made me think of stories about Atlantida, and the service was impeccable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. They have a bone fire every evening too. I loved it and would definitely return if I get the chance!

A really great place.

The room was spotless, with pristine sheets, towels, and bathrobes. We booked the Deluxe room and it matched what we expected, including a huge, hygienic bathroom. One small difference from the Superior rooms was the terrace setup: ours had just one chair outside plus the armchair, while the Superior rooms had a table and chairs. The area is full of vegetation, so there are spiders, wasps, horseflies, and other insects around. That's part of the surroundings and not only the hotel's responsibility, but if bugs bother you, I wouldn't recommend it. Staff were attentive, though our platter was missing some ingredients and they added extra of the ones they did have to disguise that. We also asked for extra cheddar cheese and salsa verde to be brought to the room, but they never arrived. Breakfast the next day was okay, not spectacular. For the price, I expected more from the service. We had planned to eat in the room and use the hot tub in the evening, which was included for unlimited time. But once it got dark, there was no light in the courtyard. We walked around in near total darkness, apart from some lights near the pool. With insects coming out at night, it was startling to find a huntsman spider in the room, and they had to come remove it. Casa Primal could be a great place for a birthday, anniversary, or proposal with your partner.
