The only thing I’d suggest is adding some fruit to breakfast. Otherwise, we had an excellent stay. The family who runs the residence is incredibly sweet, patient, and helpful, even with my terrible Spanish. Pamela is a superstar who can help with everything, and her mother makes you feel right at home. The rooms and facilities are spotless, and the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils. Highly recommend.

We stayed four nights and loved the large kitchen and hangout areas. It’s quiet but just off the main drag, and we felt right at home. Andre and Monica, who are tour guides, started the place six years ago. There were kittens in the backyard while we were there, which was the cherry on top.

The rooms are a good size and have all the amenities you need. The lady who runs this place does a great job. It’s very affordable for an average backpacker, and the hostel feels clean, quiet, and homely.

A very clean hostel with several small rooms. We paid 37,000$ for a double room and 45,000$ for one that sleeps four. Towels and a small bar of soap are provided, and breakfast is included.
