We finished a five-week camping trip here, and it was just the restful place we needed before packing for our flights home. Mauricio even drove us to the airport and walked us into the terminal. Casa Escondida is tucked among beautiful trees, so although it's close to town and the airport, it feels like the countryside. Our room was in the main house, quiet and restful, with a view of the trees like a bird blind. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The bathroom shower kept a steady temperature and had good footing. The wood-paneled living room was warm and cozy after a walk, with Mauricio keeping the stove going. He also prepared and served both a delicious breakfast and dinner, always attentive. He was a warm, welcoming, informative, and helpful host. What a great place to stay!

Mauricio gave us such dedicated, wonderful service. The location was peaceful, surrounded by trees. If we get the chance to return to Punta Arenas, we already know where we'll stay. Thanks again!

The food was the best we've had on our trip, and the host was so warm and kind. We wish we'd had more time here. It was a wonderfully relaxing evening before we left. A must stay in Punta Arenas. Thank you, we'll be back!

We liked it! The beds were comfy, the food was great, and the hosts were incredibly attentive. It's a quiet, relaxing spot near the airport, and town is an Uber ride away.

The place has a lovely warm, cozy feel, with wood throughout and tasteful decor. Mauricio is an extremely welcoming and helpful host. It's under a ten-minute drive from the airport, and he can pick you up or drop you off whenever you need. To get into Punta Arenas, an Uber is easy to arrange, and central Punta Arenas is about a 15-minute drive away. Highly recommended!
