We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very accommodating and the restaurant food was excellent. The bathroom is small, with room for only one person at a time.

I paid $190,001 CLP directly at the hotel on Saturday, January 31, 2026 for a three-day stay (Booking No. 6449262), but left without using the service and have not received a refund. The room didn’t match the online listing: it was missing the advertised minibar and wasn’t clean enough. I was also told after paying that the bar was closed, even though it was shown as open online. I returned the keys immediately and asked for a refund under consumer protection laws. I gave them my bank details, name, email and phone number as requested, but the manager wasn’t available. Their procedure was for me to email and wait for the manager. On Monday, February 2, three days later, I still hadn’t heard back from my emails or calls, so I went in person. Staff contacted the owner while I was there, and the owner promised to make the deposit. By Wednesday, February 4, there was still no refund or explanation, so I returned again. The administrator assured me the transfer would be made, but it never happened. The hotel was obligated to refund the $190,001 CLP and knowingly kept my payment without providing the service. I will initiate legal proceedings for violations of the SERNAC Consumer Rights Law and criminal charges for misappropriation.

There are plenty of better options nearby, and I really don’t understand some of these ratings. The location is good and central, but the place wasn’t clean and felt very worn. It must have been a long time since this was a good hotel. The walls are thin, and you hear the installations, elevator, trolleys and doors. I didn’t feel welcome at all, and the staff didn’t even greet customers. They took the towels without replacing them, and there was no toilet paper to replace the roll. Breakfast was really poor, with no fruit or vegetables and watery eggs as the main dish. There are much better options around.

For a same-day, one-night booking, this was a great deal. The room was warm and comfortable, the location felt safe and was convenient, and breakfast was good too. The building is dated, especially things like the elevator, so I wouldn't call it a four-star hotel, but it delivers a lot for the price. Definitely recommend.
