Toconao sits beside the Jeré stream, which supplies water for local crops and for much of the village’s drinking water. The village is picturesque, with traditional buildings made from Liparite, a beautiful volcanic stone with strong thermal properties. It comes from a quarry near the village.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were clean, the accommodation was tidy, and the staff were very friendly. It was absolutely quiet, with a courtyard and a good breakfast. There’s shaded parking under a roof in front of the house, and both a restaurant and grocery store are within walking distance. Internet access was available too.
