Breakfast was tasty and filling. There was scrambled egg as well as what’s shown in the picture. The room felt spacious even with three other people sharing it, and everything was very clean. Paying by cash or card was possible, and check-in was flexible. I enjoyed staying here. Thanks, and good luck!

The receptionist tried to charge me extra. The Booking.com price already includes taxes, so paying cash in USD should mean 19% less. Instead, I was told to pay the full Booking.com price in USD cash, or 19% more by card. That felt like a scam. Also, the hotel is a full 20-minute walk from the main street. There are no taxis, the road isn’t proper, and walking there was extremely uncomfortable and felt unsafe in the weather, with barking stray dogs and nobody else around. If you don’t have a car, don’t book here!

I moved only because I was meeting a friend and wanted to be nearer to town. Otherwise, Hostel Belén was lovely. The rooms were spacious, the beds really comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. The staff were welcoming too. It’s a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay.

The location was great and Hostal Belen is beautiful, but what really stood out was the staff. Marssela and Nayira deserve a special mention. They took care of everything we needed and kept checking in, which made our stay so much easier. They’re amazing people who really care. I absolutely loved staying here and will definitely come back!
