Hotel Dunas

The rooms were extremely clean and tidied every day. The shower had great pressure and hot water was always available. Reception helped us arrange transfers, though nobody spoke English. It's very close to downtown, but on a quieter stretch of street. The beds were so firm that both of us had sore backs. Breakfast was poor, just toast and cold scrambled eggs, and the internet kept cutting out. We could hear guests walking past and talking, especially near reception, where more people pass by.

It's not far from the center, but the nights were very noisy. The rooms also got very hot at night. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly enough, though not very helpful and a bit lacking. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms are roomy and comfortable. There's also cleaning service available at good prices. Surely one of the best places to stay in San Pedro de Atacama.

Really good value for the price! The owners are so hospitable, and the room is roomy and very clean. The bed was lovely too. I'd certainly stay at Hotel Dunas again if I came back to Atacama.
