Hostal Campo Base

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, with a social feel but none of the party noise. The owner and staff are lovely and always helpful, and the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were really clean. The breakfast was the best I've had in a hostel. For solo women, a women-only dorm or curtains around the beds would be a nice improvement.

Rodrigo got in touch a few weeks before we arrived and helped me plan and book activities, which was great. We spent four nights in a clean, comfortable private room, and the hostel itself was lovely too. Breakfast was included and outstanding. We had pancakes every morning :) The Main Street is about a 10-minute walk away, so it's easy to reach. I'd highly recommend staying here.

A clean place with a welcoming, social atmosphere, and breakfast was a nice way to start the day. Great for meeting other travelers.

The phenomenal breakfast was the highlight for me. I loved having it included, and honestly regretted leaving for another hostel. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm for $21.60 USD / Night. The atmosphere was moderately social, which suited me, and the owner was pretty nice, though a few more smiles would've been welcome. The showers were odd but really good. The location could be a little closer to things, but you take the good with the less good. No photos unfortunately.
