I only meant to stay one day, and now I'm staying many more! The hospitality feels like being with family in a nice hostel or hotel. Breakfast is delicious, and the whole place is very clean. There's a pleasant, airy common area to relax in, and they rent bikes too.

I paid $34 a night, and the heater was a big plus. The bed was comfortable, and the room, bathroom and grounds were clean. By 9pm most guests and the hotel were quiet. There's Direct tv. I like being a little out of town, away from the 5am tour buses. Kids on my tour said it gets bad in town. Dogs woke me once in three nights, and I'm a light sleeper. Around South America, hotels often come with traffic, parties, dogs, or all three. The outside area looks rough, but it's fine. Look for a tan metal door. The lady was awesome and sent me to a good tour company. She also has bikes to rent for trips into town. Best hotel I've stayed at in South America this month.

Delmira runs this nice hostel, though she isn't the owner. She's a fantastic lady. It's set among dusty roads in a remote area.

A cozy, good hostel, though it's a bit of a walk to Caracoles street, around 15 minutes.

The hostal is quiet and feels safe, though it's about a 10-minute walk from the center. The private room my husband and I had was clean, with a hot shower and plenty of blankets. The owner was attentive and even prepared breakfast for us on days when we had early tours. Breakfast was really good! We walked back from a little bar at 1 AM the night before leaving. There were few people on the street, but we felt everything was calm. I stayed here in 2018, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it!
