We were a family of five and stayed for two nights. Rooms cost a bit, though San Pedro in general is pricey, and we did feel we got value for the money. The breakfast kitchen seemed to go on endlessly, there was a pool with lounge areas, and the woman at the front desk was super helpful and friendly.

Xiaolin was the kindest, most attentive host you could hope for. She really knows how to look after people. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the showers are great. It’s right in the center, just a short walk from the restaurants, shops, and tour agencies on Caracoles. A truly wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

The 24/7 cafeteria was a lovely highlight, with lots of snacks and drinks. Xiaolin speaks English fluently, and her genuine kindness made everything easy to communicate. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. Xiaolin was one of the most outstanding hospitality professionals we’ve ever met, warm, patient, and attentive to every detail. Right after check-in, she sent us a detailed list of lunch, dinner, and cafe options, guiding us from A to Z. She also gave us a 28-page PDF that clearly explained the tours available around town. It made exploring San Pedro de Atacama much easier.

The basic double room was small but adequate for the price, and after flying from London I got a much-needed good night’s rest. The host was amazing, friendly, and extremely helpful. She arranged my airport transfer, gave me great recommendations, and was always available if I needed anything. On arrival, she walked me through the facilities, including how to adjust the modern shower controls. Free snacks are available all day, and there’s plenty of drinking water.

The host is amazing, and the pool area is beautiful. Lots of amenities, plus the cafeteria is open 24/7. A 10/10 lodge.
