The staff are really nice, the rooms are clean, and breakfast is great. Everything else was good, but the Wi-Fi was terrible. It dropped every 10-15 minutes, so I couldn't stay on calls or get work done. I'm not sure why they call themselves a cowork when working there is impossible, especially since that's the main reason I booked. I can't give five stars with internet like that.

The freshly prepared breakfast was good, and they made lunch boxes for our early tours. We also enjoyed sitting and resting in the pleasant little garden. The hotel is in a great spot, a five minute walk from the main square. Our room was clean but so small we could hardly move around. That didn't matter too much since we were out on excursions all day and only slept there. There's a pool, but it's tiny and cold. I didn't see anyone use it during our three days.

They really enjoy looking after guests, and the hospitality is top notch. Very friendly, with an excellent breakfast. The rooms fit their purpose. I recommend it.

I stayed four nights in December 2025, and the positive reviews had shaped my expectations. My experience didn't match them, and I can't recommend the hotel. It also felt overpriced for what I got. The biggest issue was the internet. It would work for about a minute every 10-15 minutes and was offline the rest of the time, making it hard to coordinate things. There was no AC in the rooms, which got hot. Opening the door or window let in flies, and I struggled to sleep. Check-in was also a bad start. The daytime receptionist, a bearded man with one large earring, asked if I spoke Spanish. I said I didn't, and he seemed annoyed, saying he couldn't speak English and we'd need a translator app. I'm used to that, but his unfriendly attitude made it feel like a problem for him. When I mentioned I'd need reliable internet to coordinate logistics, he seemed unconcerned and just said we were in the desert. The Wi-Fi wasn't working at check-in, and he didn't seem to check on it. He said my room wasn't ready but I could use the amenities, without explaining what or where they were. When I returned later, he just pointed toward the room, without offering to help with my things. I thought he might be having a bad day, but each later interaction was also rude and unhelpful. A couple of days in, I asked where I could find guest Wi-Fi. He said there was nowhere in San Pedro, which I knew wasn't true. I later found several places with free guest Wi-Fi, including two restaurants within 200 meters. I travel often for work and stay in hotels around the world, and can't remember worse customer service. The rest of the staff were great, especially the friendly, welcoming ladies in the kitchen. The cleaning ladies were nice and did a great job keeping the hotel and rooms clean. Roberto, the evening receptionist, was friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, in the middle of town near the main plaza, and I really liked the garden and common room.

The garden feels like a little oasis in busy San Pedro, and the hotel is centrally located. Breakfast was excellent, and the ladies making fresh food were very friendly. But the rooms weren't adequate for the high price. We booked a superior double room and had no chair and only a very small cupboard. Worst of all, the heating was on only from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. This was at the end of July, when temperatures stayed in the single digits until 11 a.m. and dropped again after 5 p.m.
