We enjoyed fresh, delicious figs from the fruit trees on the property. It’s a calm, welcoming place, with lovely grounds and a few bikes guests can use to explore. The hosts were wonderful and did their best to make us feel at home, even with limited English. The pool is a real treat in this region, and a nice place to unwind with a glass from the local tastings. Rooms are simple but cozy, and good value for the price. We’d recommend it to anyone visiting wine country.

The owners were so kind and helpful. We got breakfast delivered to our door in a basket. Lovely place!

We came from Canada with a big group of friends for a wedding in Santa Cruz and stayed at Refugio Nativo. The cabins were very clean, well equipped, and in a great location, while the pool felt like an oasis surrounded by nature. On our last day the car battery died, and the cabin staff went out of their way to get jumper cables from a neighbor for us. We’ll always remember their help. We absolutely recommend this place!

We loved being surrounded by nature. The cabin had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable with really good quality bedding. Everything was very clean. We were delighted with the place.

Really nice cabins with great spaces to spend the day. The center is only about 5 or 10 minutes away by car!
